DYE’S WALK COUNTRY CLUB
CLUB HISTORY

.....We at Dye’s Walk Country Club are proud that the back nine layout of our golf course is the “first design” by world renowned course architects Pete and Alice Dye. Our back nine was built in the early 1960s by the couple and they have not stopped building golf courses since. Course architect Gary Kern then designed our current front nine in the early 1970s. In the Fall of 2007 local businessmen and golf enthusiasts Brian Benham (& wife Sheila) and Rich Riley (& wife Julie) became the new owners of the facility and looked to re-name it. In honor of Mr. and Mrs. Dye the club was named Dye’s Walk Country Club. Mr. Dye has since agreed to re-design some of his first holes at our facility and will consult with various changes on the front side as well. Our course currently offers beautiful natural scenery, mature trees, rolling terrain, and many lakes, streams, and ponds. The re-design will only add to the beauty and playability of our golf course. The Dyes have expressed their appreciation to the new owners for “reviving our first course” and having a great vision for taking the course and club to a new level.

.....In addition to the changes to the golf course, there are plans underway to construct a new clubhouse in the near future. Tentative plans for the new clubhouse include a banquet facility to accommodate 300 to 400 people, a full service dining room to seat 125 people, a state of the art kitchen, a private lounge, locker facilities, a fitness area, and a new swimming pool.

..... The members and staff are very excited about all of the changes occurring at our facility. We will hope you will join us as we experience our club going to a new level.
